About event

On September 29 at 5:00 PM, the Red Hall of the House of Cinema will host a festive evening dedicated to the opening of a new creative season and celebrating the 50th anniversary of the House of Cinema.

Director Oleh Biyma, in his new film "The House of Cinema: An Uninterrupted History," has combined archival materials he has collected over many years. The film presents unique footage of the most significant events that took place within the walls of the House of Cinema, as well as interviews with prominent figures of Ukrainian cinema. Guests of the evening will have the opportunity to watch this work during the event.

Additionally, the evening will feature the ceremonial cancellation of a stamp issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of the legendary director, screenwriter, and artist Serhiy Parajanov. The celebration will conclude with a screening of the documentary film "Yaremchuk. The Incomparable World of Beauty" by director Artem Hryhoryan, which has become a leader in national cinema over the past months.

The event will feature the film's creators and leading actors of theater and cinema.
