Together with pianists Anna Polishchuk and Tetiana Hutsul, she will present a program combining the finest pages of opera and vocal classics: gems of Baroque music by Handel, Vivaldi, and Purcell, exquisite sacred lyricism by Mozart, and famous operatic scenes from the Romantic era. Listeners will hear the touching "Lascia ch’io pianga," the tragic Dido's Lament, Delilah's sensual aria, unforgettable pages from the opera Carmen, and beloved arias by Puccini, where tenderness and drama merge with the beauty of vocal melody. And, of course, the famous Ave Maria by J.S. Bach and Charles Gounod—a bright and sublime prayer that has captivated the world with its beauty for many years.
Olga Barben's artistry combines a dedication to classical traditions with deep emotionality and sincerity of musical expression. As an artist and cultural ambassador of Ukraine, she not only worthily represents the Ukrainian vocal school worldwide but also actively supports Ukrainian culture on the international stage. "August Morning" will be a true celebration of the beauty of the human voice, grand emotions, and music that retains its power across time.
