Polaroid Party

On January 14, a unique event - Polaroid film party, jointly created by Kinove, Fotovramke and Polaroid Originals - will take place. We will meet all the connoisseurs of the analogue photograph at 21:00 in the Kyiv Cinema Cultural Center lobby. We will play music, make original Polaroid photos and tell us interesting facts about the history and reality of this legendary camera.
But the most interesting thing next - at 21:40 a show of Willem Baptista's feature film "Instant Dreams" will begin. We strongly encourage you to view the trailer and make sure that this show is definitely worth it.

When Polaroid announced the end of its well-known Polaroid cameras in 2008, a small group of enthusiasts redeemed the last operating factory. Among them is a former scientist Stephen Gerchen, who previously collaborated with the inventor of Polaroid. He decided to unravel the secret of the lost chemical formula of the film and the phenomenon of Polaroid in general. MYTH WEIGHT is a movie about the impact of the Polaroid phenomenon on the future of photography and media, the contrast between the analog and digital era in photography, and their relationship.
