Concert of Kobzar Art

Dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the National Union of Kobzars of Ukraine and the 75th birthday of Volodymyr Yesypok, Chairman of the Union and People's Artist of Ukraine.

This unique concert of Kobzar and Bandura art showcases a full spectrum from traditional to modern—ranging from the solo performances of Ukraine’s traditional wandering bards to contemporary youth bands.

The audience will have the opportunity to hear and see performers on the lira (hurdy-gurdy), kobza, "starosvitska" (authentic) bandura, and "panska" (noble) bandura, as well as laureates of numerous competitions and recognized masters of the modern bandura.
