Inclusive Multisensory Exhibition “Feel the War”

The National Museum of Military History of Ukraine presents the inclusive multisensory exhibition “Feel the War.”

The exhibition was created as part of the “Feel” project, which aims to provide a deeper understanding of the wartime experience faced by service members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on a daily basis, while also creating a barrier-free space accessible to all visitors. Here, visitors can not only see certain aspects of life on the frontline, but also experience them through different senses.

Each exhibition section focuses on a particular aspect of military experience that can be conveyed through museum interpretation using touch, sound, visual elements, smell, or taste. The exhibition combines modern technologies, museum practices, and the principles of accessibility, transforming the experience of the exhibition into a multisensory encounter.
