About event

This exhibition explores the profound influence of Western European culture on Ukraine across artistic, industrial, and socio-political contexts. Discover how Ukrainian culture organically adapted European styles throughout the 18th and 19th centuries.

Exhibition Highlights:

  • Masterpieces of furniture in the style of André-Charles Boulle, Austrian Biedermeier, and French "Second Rococo" cabinets.

  • Elegant interior decor: massive vases, bronze candelabras, and sculptures inspired by the French master Clodion.

  • Rare items from the private collection of the renowned Tereshchenko family of industrialists and philanthropists.

The tour also covers the impact of Western European democratic movements of the mid-19th century on the political reality of Ukraine at that time.

  • When: Sunday, March 8, 3:00 PM.

  • Duration: 45 min.

  • Price: 250 UAH (Students/Seniors — 150 UAH).

  • Booking: +38 (044) 278-48-64 or +38 (093) 855 61 16 (Viber, Telegram).
