But how much do you know about the attributes of power held by Scythian rulers? Why is the famous Scythian pectoral considered much more than just a precious decoration? And were there other objects in the Scythian era that represented high status and power?
We invite you to discuss this (and much more!) on the eve of Independence Day during Anna Serhiienko's author-led guided tour, "On Symbols of Power (and Not Only!)."

Location: Treasury of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine (21 Ivan Mazepa St, Building 12, on the grounds of the National Preserve "Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra").
Access: Entry to the Preserve is through the main gate.
Admission: 150 UAH; 100 UAH for pensioners, students, and schoolchildren (no additional fee for entering the museum or the Preserve).
