Poltava

"Poltava" is a new Ukrainian bistro by Evgen Klopotenko and Inna Popereshnyuk. It is described as a "manifesto to one of the most gastronomic regions of Ukraine with its food cult."

The menu features "Kotlyarevsky's knysh" (potato knysh with demi-glace sauce and sour cream, fried mushrooms, fermented cream with sour cream, sheep cheese, and bacon crumbs), Myrhorod lard in chamomile, white borscht on chicken broth with sugar beet, shpundra, dumplings, zatirka, pundyki, kvass, as well as modern dishes made from the best local products.

Among the alcoholic beverages at "Poltava" are infusions, signature cocktails dedicated to famous figures of Ukrainian culture, Ukrainian, and world wines.

Odesa-Mama

The owners of "Odesa-Mama" position it as a fish place for Odessa-style gatherings.

Fish in the establishment is prepared in three ways: on a teppan, on a grill, or baked in the oven. Besides fish, there are various snacks, mains, and starters, borscht, potato pancakes, dumplings, schnitzel, etc.

From the dishes of homemade Odessa cuisine, they prepare forshmak, hummus, falafel with nut sauce.

The urban café Shalom by restaurateur Alex Cooper offers dishes of Israeli cuisine. The establishment is located in a two-story building with an area of almost 420 m².

The café focuses on a daily format and signature dishes.

The main product of Shalom is the signature chicken, which is baked whole in a wood-fired oven and lafa — flatbread, which they bake themselves with the addition of butter.

This conceptual cafe-bar was opened by Alex Cooper (Kyiv Food Market) and Mykhailo Beylin (La Famiglia). They aimed to create a place with delicious homemade food that would be cool for children of the 90s.

Here they offer Olivier salad, pancakes with chicken, fried potatoes with cheese, dumplings, vareniki, and waffle cake.

Among the drinks, there are liqueurs, strong alcohol, as well as classic and special cocktails.
