Atlas Festival Reveals Its First International Artist: Australian Duo breathe. to Perform in Ukraine for the First Time

Atlas Festival organizers have announced the first international artist of this year's lineup. For the first time, the Australian duo breathe. will take the stage at one of Eastern Europe’s largest music festivals.

The Sydney-based project, consisting of Andrew Grant and Sean Walker, creates music in the downtempo and electronic soul genres. Their sound is characterized by atmospheric textures, deep sub-bass, soft vocals, and a cinematic aesthetic.

This is a story of solidarity that gives you goosebumps. Sean and Andrew are traveling from Sydney to Kyiv, spending dozens of hours in the air, making multiple connections, and crossing borders just to meet Ukrainians who have found comfort in their music.

breathe. had no plans to perform in 2026. They stepped away from tours and live shows but made a special exception for Ukraine. Over the past few years, Ukrainians have become a particularly meaningful audience for them, discovering their music during some of the darkest times and sharing their personal stories.

This year, Atlas Festival, together with the Come Back Alive Foundation, continues the large-scale “Dronopad” initiative and launches the “150% Fundraiser” campaign to raise funds in support of the Ukrainian military.

The organizers continue to unveil new names for the lineup. Recently, the festival announced the return of Boombox to the Atlas Festival stage. In addition, KOLA, SadSvit, and Kazhanna will join the program.

This year’s festival will take place at Blockbuster Mall, a venue featuring the largest certified bomb shelter approved by Ukraine’s State Emergency Service, allowing the event to be held with safety considerations in place.
