About the place
Strichka at VDNG is a new restaurant of modern Ukrainian cuisine by Ihor Postoyenko and Wisam Ahmed — the second location of the project. It consists of two spaces; for now, only the "small" Strichka is open — a cozy spot with a terrace overlooking an apple orchard.
The design, by AIIX studio and artist Yevhen Lytvynenko, includes mosaic art, custom ceramics, and vintage tableware. There's also an in-house greenhouse growing vegetables for borscht — part of an educational project for kids.
The current menu features snacks, salads, sandwiches, soups, and salmon steak. On weekends, they test open-fire cooking, with a full grill and wood-fired oven coming soon for local meat and pizza.
