Kyoto Park was laid as a sign of friendly relations immediately after the signing of the agreement on cooperation and development of the cities of Kiev and Kyoto in 1972.
Architects tried to maximally preserve the appearance and symbols, which are inherent in the Japanese squares. There you can see the stone of the honorable seat, the stone of the cave form, the guardian stone, the stone of the moon's shadow ... The uninitiated will take it all as poetic sophistication - no more. For a Japanese, such names have a profound philosophical meaning.
