About the place
Monument to Petro Sagaidachniy – a monument to the Ukrainian Hetman Peter Konashevich-Sagaidachny. It was established on May 19, 2001 on the Kontraktova Square of Kyiv.
The authors are sculptor V.V. Shvetsov, A.Yu.Sidoruk, B.Yu. Krylov, architects M. L. Zharikov and R. I. Kukharenko. The total height of the monument is 5.5 m, the pedestal is 1.5 m.
The monument was used for the charity funds of enterprises and residents of Kyiv, as well as residents of the village Kulchitsy of Sambir district of Lviv region.
