A cozy café called “Mius” is tucked away in Butyshev Lane. The name isn’t about trends but about memory: the founders come from the Donetsk region and named the place after the Mius River, which flowed near their home and is associated with carefree childhood and tranquility.
Inside, it’s bright, quiet, and homey. There’s a large communal table for work, window seats, and several soft couches that are perfect for longer laptop sessions. The coffee is made with specialty beans, and the menu also includes hand-brew options, matcha, tea, and a solid selection of desserts: pastries, cakes, and fresh baked goods. For every cup of filter coffee sold, the café donates 10 hryvnias to the current fundraiser by the “Vzaiemodopomoha” charity, so you can not only work here but also support volunteers.
Dogs are welcome — the baristas are always happy to see four-legged visitors.
