Moon. Premiere

Carl Orff’s opera "Der Mond" (The Moon) is based on a fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm. It is only at first glance that it seems like a comic and absurd story about the grand theft of something that belongs to everyone and no one at the same time.

It is an exciting, unpredictable, and far from childish musical journey from the inception of an illicit adventure to its sad consequences and, ultimately, a bright and just finale.

The production is directed by the prominent Ukrainian theater director Tamara Trunova.
