During the winter holidays, the museum invites you on a picturesque journey through Transcarpathia - through landscapes, genre scenes and portraits created by artists of different generations. From the paintings of Adalbert Erdeli and Joseph Bokshay, who laid the foundations of the art school, to the works of Fedor Manayl, Gavryl Gluck and contemporary artists - the exhibition builds a lively dialogue between tradition and time.
Rich color, love for the Carpathian region, appeal to folk motifs and a festive mood are combined in works that preserve the memory of their origins and at the same time are open to a new vision.
