11 years old Squat 17b

For eleven years now, Tereshchenkivska 17b has been home to a magical place that is celebrating its 11th anniversary this year, right alongside one of our favorite holidays—the Summer Solstice.

So, we invite you all on June 20 and 21 to celebrate us, celebrate summer, and raise money for a major fundraiser by our friends, the Zgraya volunteer headquarters.

Here is what awaits you during these longest days of summer:

Saturday, June 20

• Portraits for a donation by photographer and family member Nastya Telikova.

• As the twilight deepens, the voices of HORROR CHOIR will begin to whisper in the air—a dark-folk fusion choir led by Antonina Vinnyk.

• Special guests will be popping up unexpectedly throughout the evening, so keep your eyes peeled! :)

Sunday, June 21

• At the start of the evening, we’ll test your knowledge with a "Squat-ology" quiz hosted by co-founders Myroslav and Daria Kryzh, and art director Tamara (get ready!).

• Our friend and photographer Daria Mangubi will be capturing your happy smiles.

• And then, the live music lineup:

  • Moann—an indie-pop singer-songwriter whose lyrics tell enchanting stories.

  • Andrii Barmalii—bringing the vibrant energy and incredible freedom of the saxophone.

  • Renie Cares—artistry that makes it easy to lose yourself and find yourself all at once.

• Your guide through all dimensions of the celebration will be musician, Radio Culture host, and founder of the RUKH festival, Zakhar Davydenko.

You already know our absolute favorite birthday gift—donations. The team’s festive goal is to finalize the major fundraiser for the Zgraya volunteer headquarters and purchase 125 drones of various types and 300 initiation boards for 13 military units operating on the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Sumy fronts.

We’ll also have treats for you—our exclusive collaboration and Zgraya charity merch! :) Plus, throughout the entire weekend, our dear photographer Oli Zitch will be snapping candid moments when you least expect it.
