This weekend, Kyiv is buzzing with events once again. From September 6 to 8, the city will host exciting concerts, hilarious stand-up shows, and vibrant festivals. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy the weekend in the capital by planning it with our guide.
This weekend, Kyiv will host KyivBookFest. The festival will take place at two locations simultaneously. Over 130 participants will present their books, and visitors can enjoy more than 200 events, including literary meetings, presentations, autograph sessions, poetry readings, and a children's program.
The festival will also feature musical performances by Braty Hadiukiny, the ethno-rock band Viy, and residents of the Cultural Desant Orchestra 59 and Remez.
Admission: some events are free, others require a donation
On September 7–8, the PesDay festival will take place at the Art-Zavod Platforma, where your beloved four-legged friends will be the main stars.
There will be a red carpet, pool, jacuzzi, sandboxes, photo zones, pes-shopping, and dog parties for them. Dog owners can enjoy stand-up comedy, BBQ, food courts, a goods market, cinema, dog yoga, lectures, and a children's area. The event will conclude with evening DJ sets.

On September 7–8, Charitable Courage: Jazz will take place at Garage on Mezhyhirska. The event will feature charity foundations, lectures, and performances by musical groups such as Yevhenii Dubovyk Project, Dennis Adu, Yevhen Puhachov Quartet, and Hyphen Dash Band.
There will also be a flea market of Ukrainian brands, a tattoo corner, and other activities. All proceeds will go to Kurazh's large fundraising campaign and the Come Back Alive foundation.

The popular all-female cover band FREEDOM JAZZ performs in the jazz-cabaret style, adding a unique flair to their renditions of global hits. The band consists of 10 musicians: three vocalists, saxophonists, a trumpeter, a bass guitarist, a keyboardist, and a drummer. Their shows are known for their brightness, eccentricity, and refined humor.

On September 8, a concert featuring OTOY and Yulia Yurina will take place at the Kureny location on the slopes of the Dnipro River.
OTOY, one of Ukraine’s most conceptual rap artists known for his performances at festivals like Positivus, Roskilde, Atlas Weekend, and Eurovision 2023, will perform his hits, including “Pasheka” and “Sudomy.”
Yulia Yurina, who works in the pop-rock genre, will also perform her tracks, including “Kameniari” and “Yaderne Lito.”

On September 7, the legendary German duo Modeselektor will return to Kyiv. Their performances are a powerful mix of Teutonic techno, electro, and other genres such as hardcore, acid, hip-hop, and industrial.
More than 30 years ago, they called themselves Fundamental Knowledge, and now, as global superstars, they will host an unforgettable rave in the capital of Ukraine.
