From April 25 to 27, Kyiv will host a multitude of vibrant events — from major concerts to festivals, documentary film premieres, and exhibitions.
SHUMEI will perform at Osocor Residence, Mia Ramari will have her first solo concert at Atlas Club, and VDNH will host the "Book Country" festival and a charity rave by thekomakoma. The weekend program also includes stand-up by Volodymyr Shumko, the premiere of a film about technical evacuation at the front, a contemporary drama festival, and the painting exhibition "La mia Venezia."

From April 24 to 27, VDNH will turn into a haven for all book lovers. The third “Book Country” festival promises over 300 events — from author meet-and-greets and autograph sessions to theater performances, masterclasses, and children’s and educational activities.
The #FRONTMEN pavilion will host an exhibition created by military personnel and veterans. Festival visitors can also enjoy lounge areas, photo zones with giant flowers and mirrors, floral cafés, and the book bloggers' award ceremony.

On April 25, SHUMEI will open the concert season at Osocor Residence. His voice is unmistakable. SHUMEI (Oleh Shumei) is a new-generation artist shaping the sound of contemporary Ukrainian pop music. His work speaks of the power of words, emotional depth, and sincerity that needs no extra explanation.
SHUMEI's career features standout duets with Tina Karol, Zlata Ognevich, and Artem Pivovarov. In 2024, he was included in Forbes’ list of Ukraine's most popular artists.
This April concert is not just a meeting with a beloved artist. Osocor Residence traditionally blends music with charity: since 2022, over UAH 4.5 million has been raised for the Armed Forces of Ukraine here. And the mission continues.

On April 25, singer Mia Ramari will perform her first solo concert at the Atlas club in Kyiv. She is known for songs like “Nema Liubovi,” “Svidomist,” “Na Samoti,” “Ne dyvys’ na mene,” and for her TikTok videos where she creates music in real time. Now her tracks will be performed live — with a full band, heartfelt stories, and the same emotional depth that her fans love.
The concert will also feature an auction and a charity fundraiser to support the “Artan” special unit of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.

On April 25, thekomakoma will take the stage at VDNH — an artist dubbed the “king of rave” on the Ukrainian scene. His songs “Sonechko,” “Richka-charivnytsia,” “Zirochky,” and “Tantsuiu Sam” blend heartfelt lyrics with hard beats and have already gathered hundreds of thousands of streams on Spotify.
Serhii Silakov, the creator behind thekomakoma, serves in the GROZA battalion of the Burevii brigade of the National Guard, where he continues to make music — he recorded the “Album about Love” right on the front lines. Now he returns to the stage with a charity concert to raise funds for his unit’s needs.

From April 25 to 27, the Playwrights' Theater will host the fifth Contemporary Drama Festival, organized by the National Union of Theater Workers of Ukraine. Over three days, the program will include performative readings of plays developed during the 5th NSTDU Drama Laboratory. This year’s theme is “Comedy.”
After each reading, there will be open discussions with experts and the audience — a great opportunity to talk with the authors, hear fresh voices in Ukrainian dramaturgy, and join conversations on current topics.

Festival of Contemporary Drama
On April 26, Volodymyr Shumko will take the stage at the Krakiv cultural cluster with a new theatrical stand-up show “A Call from Childhood.” It will be an evening of nostalgia, laughter, and memories where you’ll easily recognize yourself — from school fails to familiar moments from the past.
The show features sharp jokes, light self-irony, and an honest conversation about the things that still make us laugh. A perfect pick for fans of heartfelt stand-up.

On April 26, Cepasa will perform at the “VYAVA” cultural space — a Ukrainian electronic artist and producer known for his aesthetic sound that blends vocals, instruments, dance rhythms, and world music.
The setlist includes his new album “Heart” and favorite tracks warmly received in Kyiv, London, and Berlin. Cepasa has worked with Jamala and Keeno, composed film scores, and won a YUNA award — and now you can hear him live in the capital.
