The play by Max Devizorov — an actor and military serviceman — is based on his personal story, which once inspired romantics but, with the start of the war, has become a tale of disappointment and betrayal.
For the first time, the play was shown at the final of the first batch of the Veterans' Theater, and now the audience can see it in an updated version. Director Oleksa Hladushevskyi adds a fairytale style to the production, which helps distantly reflect on complex topics without re-traumatizing the viewer. This is a story about how war changes not only people but also the most steadfast ideas about love, loyalty, and true values.
