About the place
The post station named the square and the metro station.
The house now houses an exhibition devoted to the history of Magdeburg Law - the self-government of Kiev.
The post office building was the first long-term construction in Kiev. It began to be erected in the early 50's of the nineteenth century, but the construction stopped the Crimean War.
They returned to the construction only in the early 60's, and in 1865 the post office began to receive the first letters and send the first passengers to the trips.
