The most extraordinary symbolic Water Museum of Ukraine is located in the dungeon of old water tower. This design was the main "poilitsa" of the city more than 140 years ago! It consisted of two water towers 20 meters high and the underground tank capacity of 110 thousand buckets! And this is 1 million 350 thousand liters!
The author of this masterpiece was military engineer Amand Struve. Although the name of this genius is not known to every citizen of Kiev, but it was he who first created a railway bridge across the Dnieper, the first electric tram in the Russian Empire and street gas lighting.
