About the place
Located in the Dnipro district of the city on the island of Venice. In the north-east it is washed by the waters of the Venetian Strait; from the beach you can see the coast of the Dolobecky, Trukhaniv, Desenka rivers (Chortoria), as well as the right bank of the Dnieper.
Every day during the summer health season, the beach is visited by about 3,000 people.
Near the beach is equipped Rescue-diving station (RVS) number 3 of the "Pleso".
In 2017, the "Children's" beaches received the international environmental award "Blue Flag" as a beach that meets international criteria and standards.
The recognition of the Blue Flag program, according to the decision of the International Independent Jury, is provided by the beaches of different countries, which meet a large list of stringent requirements related to environmental education and information, water quality, environmental management, security and services.
The area of the beach: - 2 hectares.
