Maiden Mountain (Divich Mountain, Maiden Mountain) - the so-called high hill above the Dnieper, located in the center of the village of Tripoli. Most likely, this name refers to the ancient Slavic cult of the female deity: the goddess Virgo, the goddess-foremother.
Maiden’s Mountain is the highest point in the Obukhovshchyna - its height above the Dnieper is 55 m, and above sea level 186 m.
At the very top of the Devich Mountains, a settlement and a burial ground of Zarubinets culture (II century BC), an ancient Slavic temple (VI century) were discovered.
