Date and time
Add to calendarPavlo Makov's exhibition "Lineage, or Buried Names" has opened at The Naked Room gallery. This series of works is part of the long-term cycle "Abracadabra," which the artist has been developing since 2018 and plans to complete as an art book by 2025.
Makov's art skillfully combines beauty with the darker facets of modernity. In his new works, he creates a world where man-made structures and urban labyrinths give way to abstract flows and real chasms. Monumental plants, which once symbolized the enduring power of nature, now convey ideas of exhaustion and the finiteness of existence.
