From miniature initial letters to monumental murals — we invite you to immerse yourself in the world of Ukrainian illustration at Mystetskyi Arsenal.
Opening April 2nd, the exhibition "Illustrotheque: Ukrainian Illustration in the Dialogue of the Twenties" explores Ukrainian graphics of the early 20th century as a dynamic, living process. The project highlights illustration as one of the most accessible media that helped preserve Ukrainian cultural continuity through the wars and repressions of the 20th century.
The exhibition features masters like Heorhiy Narbut, Sofiya Nalepinska-Boychuk, and Vasyl Krychevsky alongside leading contemporary illustrators (Romana Romanyshyn, Andriy Lesiv, Tania Yakunova, Anna Sarvira, and others), fostering a vibrant dialogue between eras.
