About event

Ivan Kotlyarevsky’s immortal poem, interpreted by the "Veterans’ Theater," transforms into an emotional dialogue about war, memory, and the power of the word. The project's core idea is to open a path toward inner healing and self-expression through physical movement, speech, and music within the art of theater.

"Eneida" is not merely another premiere by the "Veterans’ Theater"; it is a mission-driven project designed to support Ukrainian veterans through creativity, helping them re-evaluate their wartime experiences while offering society a way to truly understand them.

The roles in this performance are played by active-duty service members and veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war with amputations and severe injuries. Despite their physical trauma, they demonstrate an extraordinary strength and will to live on stage. "Eneida" showcases the potential and resilience of Ukrainian soldiers who, despite their trials, find the strength for creativity and self-realization.
