The photo exhibition "Saving the Capital" is a documentary story about the work of Kyiv's rescue workers amid a full-scale war. At the core of the exposition are real frames of their work: eliminating the consequences of shelling, extinguishing fires, clearing debris, evacuating residents, and the daily labor of heroes without weapons.
The title "Saving the Capital" symbolizes more than just combating the aftermath of enemy attacks. It represents an effort to preserve the city as a space of life, memory, home, and hope for millions of residents and guests alike.
All the photographs in the exhibition are documentary and unscripted. These are authentic moments of service by the Kyiv City Garnison of the SES (State Emergency Service), captured during real events by renowned photographers as well as the press center of the Kyiv SES.
