Another weekend is coming to Kyiv — one that promises to be loud, bright, and eventful. These three days — from August 8 to 10 — can be spent to the riffs of rock bands, among ethnic performances, or simply with a cocktail in hand and a view of Podil.
The lineup includes a Ruslana concert at "V’YAVA", stand-up improvisation by Berezhko and Pinchuk, a discount market from Ukrainian brands, the "Vyrij. Prostonieba" festival, and more. Choose what speaks to you — from wild dancing to acoustic sunsets.
On August 10, a special concert will take place at the KURENI summer venue: for the first time, Tonya Matviyenko and Arsen Mirzoyan will share the same stage. This is a rare chance for listeners to see the singing couple together — Arsen will be the special guest at Tonya’s solo performance that evening.
The program includes Tonya’s well-known songs: "Kulbaby", "Likhtaryky", "Ya nikomu tebe ne viddam", "A mozhe ty", and more. Arsen will likely present songs from his album "Pozyvni", created in collaboration with soldiers — musical diaries from the front line.
Expect solo performances and special duets.
Admission: from 450 UAH
On August 9, Ruslana — the singer who brought Ukraine its first Eurovision victory — will perform at the cultural space "V’YAVA" at VDNG. This is one of her rare appearances in the capital lately, as she has mostly been touring abroad and working on international projects.
At the concert, Ruslana will perform both new material and well-known hits. Of course, there will be "Wild Dances" — the track that became iconic not only in her career but in all of Ukrainian pop culture.
Admission: from 400 UAH
On August 8, Epolets will perform at "V’YAVA" at VDNG with a special summer set. It promises to be light and full of energy, featuring hits from past albums and songs associated with the sea, sun, and relaxation.
This year, Epolets also released a new album, "Harmony of Chaos" — an emotional and conceptual work about inner change, loss, and rebirth. So, songs from the album may also be performed.
Admission: from 400 UAH
On Saturday, August 10, Ivan Liulenov — a Ukrainian-speaking artist from Moldova known for his deep yet concise lyrics — will perform at "V’YAVA" at VDNG. Together with musician Damnitskyi, he created the songs "Techno", "Shovkovytsia", and "Contemporary", which have already made their way into many Ukrainian playlists.
This will be an intimate concert — no extra noise, just voice and guitar in the spotlight.
Admission: 350–700 UAH
On August 10, the rooftop of Gulliver Mall in Kyiv will host world-famous songs — from "Umbrella" to "Skyfall". The program features the greatest hits of Lady Gaga, Adele, and Rihanna in symphonic arrangements. These generational anthems will be performed by virtuoso musicians under the open sky, overlooking the evening cityscape.

On August 8, two familiar faces of Ukrainian stand-up — Andrii Berezhko and Pasha Pinchuk — will meet on the stage of "Bochka" pub. No scripts, no rehearsals — just live improvisation, reacting to the audience, and jokes in the moment.
This is a format where humor is born on the spot — from everyday observations, random audience words, and sincere confessions by the comedians. An evening for those tired of recycled jokes and seeking truly live comedy.

On Friday, August 8, the legendary Motrolla returns to the "Docker Pub" stage with a full-format concert. The band, which began with rockabilly and hardcore, became a cornerstone of Ukraine’s 2000s rock scene — a time when their well-known hits were born.
This evening will feature both proven tracks like "8-й колір" and "Не дзвонила, не заходила", as well as new songs from recent releases. The format is simple: no pretentiousness — just honest music, guitar riffs, and live sound.
Admission: 250–300 UAH
On August 9–10, the green spaces of VDNG will host "Vyrij. Prostonieba" — an ethno-electronic event with a dress code and a lineup of Ukrainian and international artists. It’s not just a festival, but a full-scale performance combining Ukrainian traditions with modern culture.
To attend, a ticket alone isn’t enough — a costume is also required.
The direction will be handled by Ivan Urivskyi ("Konotop Witch"), costumes by Lesia Patoka, choreography by Olena Koliadenko and Freedom ballet, and creative concept by Pavlo Vrzheshch of Banda Agency.
Admission: 1500–4000 UAH
