What to Do in Kyiv on the Weekend of November 7–9: Concerts, Parties, Markets, and Exhibitions
facebook.com/hutsul.metal

The weekend of November 7–9 in Kyiv promises to be full of events: from large-scale concerts and techno rhythms to architectural exhibitions and cozy markets. At the Palace of Sports, Artem Pivovarov will play three shows with an orchestra, while the bands “Heitspeech” and Karna will gather fans in formats where music is both drive and statement. At the Zhytniy Market — the return of the authentic Kyiv flea market “Podilskyi Shuk”, and at the Ukrainian House — an exhibition about Brutalist Italy.

So plan your weekend now: ahead is an explosive mix of live music, art, parties, and urban stories that will surely add energy to this November.

Exhibition “Brutalism. Italy”

From November 6 to 16, the fifth floor of the Ukrainian House will host the exhibition “Brutalism. Italy” — the first public presentation of the international project of the same name, dedicated to architectural brutalism on the Apennine Peninsula.

The exposition brings together 146 photographs of more than a hundred buildings captured by researchers and photographers of modernist architecture Roberto Conte and Stefano Perego. From alpine slopes to Mediterranean shores, visitors will see how brutalism manifested itself in different corners of Italy — through massive forms, monochrome concrete, and striking urbanism.

This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the aesthetics of an architectural movement that evokes both awe and admiration, as well as to discover a lesser-known side of Italy’s cultural heritage — beyond elegant palazzos and Renaissance symmetry.

Epolets Concert

On November 9, the band Epolets will perform at Kyiv’s Origin Stage with the presentation of their new album “Harmony of Chaos.” It’s a conceptual work where each track is a separate story connected to trauma, experiences, or the inner states of the main character, who reaches out to a fictional psychological support center.

At this event, she will perform a nearly three-hour set where every track becomes part of a cohesive story.

The evening will be opened by Mamay — an artist whose sound is associated with the atmosphere of Burning Man and the Ukrainian camp Kurenivka. His music immerses listeners in a state of journey where rhythm becomes the guide, and the shared energy of guests creates a unique space.

On November 9, the band “Uliana Del Rey” will perform at Kyiv’s Caribbean Club as part of their GRAND SHOWs. The main idea of the evening is to bring pop punk back to the familiar aesthetics of “cabinets and carpets,” filled with nostalgia for the early 2000s.

“Uliana” promises a mix of old and new songs combining irony, recognizable references, and live energy. The show’s atmosphere features retro notes, second-hand style, and a sincere love for the generation that grew up with cassettes, memes, and “Czechoslovak cabinets.” Guests are encouraged to experiment with looks — this is the concert where outfit and mood create the perfect vibe together.
