Kyiv Modern Ballet: "Bolero" and "Rain" — Contemporary Classics by Radu Poklitaru

Exhibition "Face-to-Face with Mykola H"

Since March 29, a new exhibition cycle "Face-to-Face" has begun at the Kyiv Picture Gallery. The first exhibit is Mykola H's painting — "Portrait of Maria Skoropadskaya with Sons," painted in 1879. It’s an intimate, very lively scene — a mother and children, tenderness and movement, warmth and softness.

Along with the main work, rare artifacts that belonged to the Skoropadsky family from the collections of several museums are displayed, and also a digital photo album about the life of Maria and her children. The exhibition offers not just to look, but to literally immerse yourself in the era, look into the eyes of the characters of the painting, and be alone with history.

Shovkunenko Foundation Exhibition "And Far Away, as if Watercolors..."

In the intimate space of Pavlo Tychyna’s museum-apartment, an exhibition of watercolors by the outstanding Ukrainian artist Oleksiy Shovkunenko — a landscape artist, portraitist, and long-time friend of the poet — has opened. The exhibition is dedicated to the artist’s birthday and presents his works from the museum collection.

Watercolor in Shovkunenko’s hands is not just a technique, but a language of light, transparency, and silence. The first Saturday of April at KURENI is celebrated by the fireplace, surrounded by music and warm people. The whole territory will be open — you can walk, dine at the food court, share conversations, and then return to the stage where music is playing.

That evening, N.JAM — a Kyiv producer creating soft, emotional live sets — will perform, as well as IV HIGH — a Serbian artist whose set sounds like a gesture of support for Ukraine.

The event is part of a new charity fundraiser for a thermal scope for the 57th Brigade.

"Stand-Up Evening at Podil" — Laughter Without Filters

"Stand-Up Evening at Podil" is a true show for those who love live humor and aren’t afraid of honest jokes. On stage — comedians from various corners of Ukraine: philosopher Dima Tarabakin from Luhansk, stand-up empire destroyer Olga Kropyva, the Kherson legend Dima Pavlovsky, Poltava’s favorite Ilya Zavalny, and the headliner of the evening Dima Tyutyun — a master of sharp jokes about all our pains.

"The Squirrel Who Lived 100 Years" — Performance with Vitalina Bibliw

At the "Golden Gates" Theater — a warm and unexpected premiere: "The Squirrel Who Lived 100 Years." The performance, based on the text by Oleg Mykhaylov, was born after an ordinary walk in the Mariinsky Park — it was there that director Stas Zhyrkov decided that it was time to tell the story of one little squirrel.

In the lead role — the incomparable Vitalina Bibliw. Her character observes squirrels in the "Skansen" park, notices the details, and recalls how, over 100 years, she learned to love, accept, and let go. This performance is about those who are often overlooked but whose life has meaning and depth. Come to see this light yet touching story with notes of irony that will definitely stay in your heart.
