facebook.com/GreenGreyOfficial

The last weekend of September in Kyiv will be packed with events for every mood. VDNH will turn into a book town with hundreds of publishers and events, the interactive exhibition *Ukraine WOW* will open in the city center, and open-air concerts will feature Lama, Misha Krupin, Green Grey, and Drevo. Add to that a cozy home goods market, a charity run supporting women with breast cancer, and even a live recording of the show *Veterans of the Space Forces* — and you've got a full weekend itinerary with music, books, and sports.

Book Land at VDNH

At the end of September, VDNH will once again transform into a large Book Land. This year’s theme is "fruity": the area will be decorated with giant fruits and vegetables, themed installations, and autumn photo zones.

About 100 Ukrainian publishers will participate in the fair, presenting new releases and beloved books for readers of all ages. Over four days, more than 400 events are planned — from presentations and author meetups to children’s quests, autograph sessions, and art exhibitions.

Ukraine WOW Exhibition

The interactive exhibition *Ukraine WOW* is returning to Kyiv. This time, its centerpiece will be the display of six rare early printed books from the 17th–18th centuries, shown to the public for the first time. These editions offer a unique insight into military affairs, daily life, education, culture, and religion in Ukraine hundreds of years ago.

Excerpts from these texts were voiced for the exhibition by well-known contemporary Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine — among them Taras Chmut, Serhiy Zhadan, Andriy Luzan, Serhiy Sternenko, Anton Ptushkin, and historian Timothy Snyder. They brought to life the texts of Beauplan, Voltaire, Chevalier, Marshall, Herbinius, and Cellarius so that today’s visitors can hear the voices of the past through the lens of the present.

The project aims to show the continuity of Ukrainian cultural and historical heritage, which forms the foundation of our future.
