Add to calendarAs part of the "Theater in Context" project, the performance of Serendipity will be preceded by a lecture from Pavlo Gudimov—gallerist, collector, curator, and founder of the "Ya Gallery" art centers.
We will immerse ourselves in the context of contemporary art, discussing art market stereotypes, price-setting mechanisms, and what truly determines the value of a work of art.
We will attempt to unravel a paradox of the modern world: why art is often purchased specifically because it is "not about the money." We’ll also explore time as a factor that contributes to either the understanding or the oblivion of an artist and their work.
Special attention will be paid to the current artistic landscape in Ukraine, specifically the impact of the war on shifts within the Ukrainian art community.
Discover more, understand better, and dive deeper into the meanings of Serendipity—a story about friendship and art, price and value, and a perspective that changes everything.
